Programs Overview

The Capital Area United Way not only supports our partner agencies, but we also support special local programs that help our community and help us reach our areas of focus, which include critical health and human care needs in Hughes and Stanley counties.

Your United Way gift will help fund these programs, and help those who need it the most:

Girls on the Run/Girls on Track serves girls in 3-8th grade and helps prepare them for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living.

Imagination Library provides FREE books to children, ages 0-5, who reside in Hughes and Stanley counties.

The Youth Booster Fund assists youth-serving organizations, or youth themselves, with mini-grants in Hughes and Stanley counties.

Scoop-It! provides snow removal for elderly and disabled individuals.

The Student Emergency Fund provides funding in order to help schools meet unusual, unfunded basic needs of students.
