The Capital Area United Way manages a list of elderly and disabled homeowners in Pierre and Fort Pierre who need winter snow removal.

Snow removal is provided by inmates of the South Dakota Women's Prison.
Inmates will remove any snow that is required to meet the city requirements.

Home owners must call the Capital Area United Way to register for the program at 605-224-9229.
