Lions Club Vision Screening Program

The Capital Area United Way understands that children are our future. Good vision is essential for the learning process. Therefore, the CAUW supports the Pierre/Fort Pierre Lions Club's Vision Screening Program.

This program reaches children between the ages of 6 months and 18 years old and is accomplished by a committed group of volunteers. Around 300-400 children can be screened during a normal school day. Approximately 2,000 children in our community receive this free screening each year.
